Brock Henderson
Founder & Sports Instructor
Meet Brock Henderson, our Founder & Trainer, a Chickasha, OK native. He played baseball at Chickasha High School, pitching and playing all positions. He then received a scholarship to play at the University of Oklahoma and later transferred to the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma.
With Coach Mike Ross's guidance, Brock thrived at shortstop. His dedication earned him recognition in the competitive Sooner Athletic Conference and the 2022 Gold Glove Award. Baseball is his life—it shaped his character, taught him life lessons, and gave him incredible memories. Brock is grateful for the coaching and support that has helped him grow.
As his collegiate career comes to a close, Brock is filled with a strong desire to give back to the sport of baseball. With a passion for the game and a wealth of experience, Brock is excited to provide aspiring players with tailored lessons in hitting, fielding, and agility. He firmly believes in helping both beginners and advanced players alike develop their skills and reach their full potential on the field. Through his expertise and dedication, Brock aims to make a positive impact on the next generation of baseball players, instilling in them a love for the game and the drive to excel.

Gunnar Hansen

Hendy Sports Academy is incredibly excited to announce the newest addition to our HSA family, Gunnar Hansen!
Hello all! My name is Gunnar Hansen. I am from Wisconsin and am apart of the Usao Drover baseball team. I couldn’t be more excited to be brought into HSA to begin my work as a personal trainer. Being a coach is something I have always known I am going to become, so much so I have chosen to and am 1 year away from graduating with my physical education degree and teacher certification from Usao. I have been training baseball/softball players for 4 years now and come with not only the knowledge needed to get your player to the next level of their game but also a fun, interactive attitude that is always ready to get better! My specialty/ passion is catching but obviously, with the experience of four years, I will make your little one a better ball player. You won’t regret it!
Allison Couch
Softball Pitching & Hitting Instructor
Meet Allison Couch, a remarkable young woman who is currently a Freshman at the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma. From the tender age of 9, Allison discovered her passion and talent for pitching, and ever since, she has been making waves in the softball world. She proudly served as the starting pitcher throughout her entire high school career, gaining invaluable experience and honing her skills along the way.
Allison's achievements on the diamond are truly commendable. In her freshman year, she made her mark by being named All-District pitcher, setting the stage for what would become an impressive high school journey. Despite facing a challenging obstacle in her junior year—an ACL injury—Allison demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination by bouncing back stronger than ever. Not only did she return to dominate on the field, but she was also deservedly named Pitcher of the Year for district 4a-4.
Adding to her list of accolades, Allison recently received the prestigious honor of being named to the All-Region 5 team, further solidifying her reputation as a gifted athlete. However, Allison's talents extend far beyond the softball diamond. Throughout high school, she has also managed to excel academically, maintaining an exemplary record of straight A's. In addition to her academic prowess, Allison has shown a dedication to being a well-rounded individual by participating in Powerlifting and Soccer as well.
Looking ahead, Allison has big plans for her future. She is attending the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) to further her education and continue her athletic career. With her combination of athletic ability, academic excellence, and unwavering determination, there's no doubt that Allison Couch is on the path to achieving great things both on and off the field.
